The Story Behind the Work | |
| You've built a life that works, on paper. You perform. You deliver. You're the one other people count on, the one who takes the call nobody else wants to take. And somewhere in the middle of all that competence, you lost track of yourself. Maybe you can't remember the last time you felt something just for you, without guilt riding along with it. Maybe your body's been sending signals for a while now — exhaustion that sleep doesn't touch, a low hum of "something's off" — that you've gotten very good at overriding. Maybe you've started to quietly wonder if the achieving was ever going to be enough. That's who this is for. |
I know this territory because I've lived in it. I built a business to nearly a million dollars in sales, lost it, and found decades of unprocessed trauma underneath the ambition — trauma from being raised inside a high-demand yoga culture that taught discipline long before it taught feeling. Naming that clearly, as cultural abuse, is what finally let me stop out-achieving it. I've spent over forty years learning what it actually takes to come back into my body instead of just pushing it further. What I teach isn't another productivity hack or self-optimization framework — you have enough of those already. It's mental health support, breath training, pleasure research, and cultural deconstruction: resources for actually feeling what's happening inside you, instead of managing around it, or pushing through it. |
